What judgment will history record for this generation? I hope there is time for vindication.

The facts are that Barack Obama follows in the legacy of our worst tyrants: Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro and Chavez. All of these con artists were popular in their time. Like Obama, they had highly efficient propaganda experts and a sycophantic or at least compliant media. Sure, they bought support with cronyism, deception and dishonesty; after all, what is community organizing all about? Hopefully our populace will wise up in time for historians to present better balance.

At this point the outlook is bleak. Are our best days ahead? Or in the past? If you are waiting for another Obama handout, God help us!

Jerry Osgood

I just heard that Fannie Mae had it's most profitable quarter every and plans on paying Uncle Sam 59 billion dollars to pay down it's debt and foreclosures are down over 30% from last year. Roses.

Yes that would be something !
I'd say 3 articles in a row not blaming the 1/2 black guy for Global Warming or such would be a good start ! Or they might insist that all attacks on people must be accompanied with "This is what should be done.." and the attacker gets to tell us HOW it should be done.

In this way any of Us can separate the sheep from the goats..

Joanne and other posters, say what you will, and you just might be correct. However think $17 trillion dollars, that's a fact Jack, keep that in mind.[wink]

Jerry Osgood's outrage has absolutely nothing to do with the economy.

He is genuinely PO'd that we have a black man in the White House. To him it is a travesty so horrible that he is compelled to compare President Obama to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro and Chavez even though he most likely knows nothing about most of these individuals, nor does he know WHY Obama's policies should be compared to any of them.

Let's hope there is time for this paper to create a better legacy than the one it is creating by by printing garbage like this.

What a whiner stock market breaks 15,000, consumer confidence is high, housing appears to be rebounding the only reason Jerry has for complaining is that the economy has rebounded so well after near destruction brought on by the Bush era. You would think it would be increasingly difficult to blame Obama and start giving a little credit but that would no doubt be too much of a shock to Jerry's world view. O well stew in your misery I'm sure you deserve it.
