Regarding Ken Vogel, Larry Ruhstaller, Steve Bestolarides and Carlos Villapudua wanting to extend the terms of their supervisor seats, Supervisor Leroy Ornelas makes sense in saying this is not the right time to unnecessarily spend $150,000 of taxpayer money. These tough economic times simply don't warrant such an expenditure.

Two four-year terms is long enough for anybody, and besides that, change in government is good for good government. My dear old dad used to quip, "when good men do nothing, nothing gets done."

Thanks to all of our hard-working supervisors for serving.
