Once again, GwIn Paden has delighted me with one of her letters, “The Right Words.”
She is so correct in her observations of the current use of the English language. In emails, on Facebook, in handwritten and typed notes I cringe when I see words misused and misspelled. For instance, if you complete a task, you have done it; not dun or did.
If you are going the right way, you know where you are going, not you no your way.
Sometimes I wonder if they have forgotten to teach English and spelling in school. I thank Gwin for the wit and humor of her entertaining columns and hope she continues putting her bright views and opinions in print.
