There are two different sets of rules

It seems that if you are a Democrat, you play by a different set of rules than everyone else. Case in point: Bill Clinton pulled the most despicable sexual acts that one could imagine. The deceit and lies that he told to the American people, "I did not have sex with that woman." The disrespect of his country and his wife was disgusting; however, the people gave him a pass and re-elected him. That says something about the character of many of our citizens.

Now we have a man, Gen. Petraeus, who has given most of his life to the service of his country. He risked his life in combat, and due to a stupid act on his part he was forced to resign from a job that he has excelled in. America needs him because these are perilous times, and we need his knowledge and expertise.

I wonder if it could possibly have something to do with the knowledge he has; maybe of the cover-up in Libya and the possible failure of those who are running our country. Four of our young men who were serving their country were abandoned by their country and murdered — and after two months, we are still waiting for the truth. Let's not let this administration sweep this under the rug. I think we need to know the truth.

Could it have had anything to do with the recent presidential election? Cover-up! What do you think?

Obama continually claims that his presidency is the most transparent ever. I guess I don't know what the word "transparent" means, but I do know that after telling absolute lies like our president does, it is pretty hard for him to remember exactly what he has said. Like the old saying goes, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."
