Campaign costs and other expenditures
Headlines on home page reads "President's wife to energize crowd." Excuse me, but everyone there is for the president. Like someone would boo.
The best thing is that labor supports Democrats with money, and yet the Democrats hold it in a state that won't allow unions. I know this is supposed to help the economy in the area, but does it really pay for all that the cities have to pay out?
When was the last time delegates picked a candidate who lost elections?
Who pays for all of the traveling that the president does for non-government functions? Going to a fundraising event is not government duties.
Kenneth Blanke

I sincerely doubt more stupidity won't be forthcoming Darrell... [rolleyes]

Mr Liebich... now you are being a party pooper. I was so much enjoying Mr Schmidt.s perception of reality... He so often posts something that makes him the class clown but now that you threw in some facts, the fun is over.

Mr. Schmidt stated, "the President's travel costs are paid in the same way that incumbent President's costs have been paid for decades." "Campaign related costs are paid by the campaign, costs related to the President's job are paid by the government."
Apparently there is no hope for Mr. Dope... [sleeping]
In reality Mr. Schmidt, Obama is the first president to pay for re-election travel under updated rules adopted by the Federal Election Commission in 2009 to implement a lobbying and ethics reform law passed by Congress in 2007.
FEC rules specify that when there is any political activity at a particular stop, all travel to that destination must be reimbursed.
President Barack Obama flies Air Force One when he leaves town. So does Candidate Barack Obama. Either way, taxpayers are on the hook for a hefty amount. Air Force One costs $179,750 an hour to operate. And, no matter what the reason for the president's trip, there are all sorts of other necessary big expenses anytime he moves around the country: advance teams, cargo planes, armored cars, Secret Service protection, communications and medical staff and more.
If a president had to pay the true costs of his campaign travel he'd never go anywhere.

Ms Bobin stated...Leave it to Mr. Baumbach to actually understand the ramblings of a person who either has a chemical dependency or should be prescribed one
I agree with Ms Bobin...I must have great comprehension skills to actually understand the ramblings of Mr Schmidt... I must be gifted.[beam][thumbup]

Romunism is much like Romney himself, the more people know about it, the less they like it.

The unofficial Romunist Slogan: BRING BACK THE 60 HOUR WORK WEEK!!!

Mr Blanke stated...The best thing is that labor supports Democrats with money, and yet the Democrats hold it in a state that won't allow unions
No way could that possibly happen in this economy. Can you imagine how much it would cost to rename a state “ Paradise” or “Nirvana”... after all, a state with no unions would be heavenly and represent freedom . One can only dream of such a reality.
Joanne Bobin posted at 12:04 pm on Wed, Sep 12, 2012.
Except for the crazed "I love you, women!!!" And it sounded soooo sincere.
Akin to the Howard Dean "Yihaaah!!!" or whatever that sound was.

This letter sounds like Mr. Blanke was hitting the pipe right before he wrote it. What state is he talking about that "doesn't allow unions?"
"When was the last time delegates picked a candidate that lost elections?"
John McCain in 2008 for one, and hopefully Willard Romney in 2012. Especially after shooting off his mouth about "apologizing" after the US Embassy attack without having any of the facts.
Seems his old buddy Bibi Netanyahu is trying to come to his rescue by stirring the pot and asking Obama for specifics on Iran policy. Willard has probably already "whispered" in Bibi's ear, "after the election I'll have more flexibility."

ROMUNISM:
You do all the work.
You pay all the taxes.
The Romunists bank offshore.
Steve Schmidt posted at 5:52 am on Wed, Sep 12, 2012.
As for the First Lady's speech, I imagine much the same could be said about Ann Romney's speech at the RNC.
Steve Schmidt posted at 5:51 am on Wed, Sep 12, 2012.
Mr Blanke, the President's travel costs are paid in the same way that incumbent President's costs have been paid for decades. Campaign related costs are paid by the campaign, costs related to the President's job are paid by the government.
That is the way things were done when Ronald Reagan ran for reelection and that is the way thing will be done in 4 years in the unlikely event that the Romunists win the White House.
