On April 26, Obama became the first U.S. president to ever speak at Planned Parenthood, and in closing his speech expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the organization by saying, "Thank you, Planned Parenthood, God bless you ... God bless America." I was shocked and dismayed, but not surprised.
I don't know what God Obama is invoking a blessing from here, because it certainly isn't the living God of the Bible — the Author of all life. He must be referring to another God in the Bible, perhaps the ancient God of the Ammonites, Molech, who requires the sacrificial killing of children. This god would surely bless Planned Parenthood. Whichever god of death Obama may have been invoking, I also don't want this god blessing my country.
Obama continues to play word games and can't call abortion what it is, which is the killing of developing human beings. Instead he continues to confuse the issue by referring to abortion as merely a woman's health and choice issue. Not once was the word abortion mentioned in his speech. He's asking a blessing for the largest abortion provider in America, performing over 333,000 abortions a year and collecting over a half-billion dollars of taxpayer funding from people like you and me. In the 12 minutes Obama spoke, 7 to 8 abortions occurred at Planned Parenthood clinics — roughly 1 every 94 seconds.
The God of the Living will not be mocked by anyone, including this president, who refuses to believe a person in utero is a human being in any stage.
I make this appeal to any and everyone who acknowledge themselves to be Christians, and especially to Catholics or Protestants. Is there anything more important than the sanctity of life? What message of gratitude and thankfulness does abortion send to a Holy God? One day, whether we choose to believe it or not, we'll all stand before our Maker, the true and living God of Life to give an account for our life. When that day comes for Obama, I don't think he'll be standing in front of Molech.
