Many people are voting with their feet

Pardon me while I treat everyone like "teens" by asking questions. You see, before they became teens, I simply told my children what to do. Then, however, I had to revert to well-thought-out questions.

So, Lodi, here is my question for you: What happens to California when the people paying taxes move out of state? Since half pay income taxes and half do not, how many taxpayers have to vote with their feet before there is a new fiscal problem?

People across the country have demonstrated that they are indeed willing to move to lower-tax areas. How about that French movie star who left France to avoid 75 percent income tax?

By the way, what percentage of your money are you willing to surrender to taxes?

Larry your facts are a little skewed an article in the Wall Street Journal shows that there has been a net in-migration of people making over $200,000 a year since 2005 and that of those out migrating the median income was $40,000 a year just two thirds of the state median also of those leaving the state only one in ten had a college degree. People are leaving the state just not the people you think.

"It's only just begun..." the fact is that those who can are already preparing to leave "Obamaland" -- formerly known as the U.S.A. California has been a leader on the way up, and now the state -- of madness -- is leading us all the way down -- can you feel the heat? like napalm in the morning? hell maybe? I have been warning anyone willing to listen that this day was coming-- hold onto your britches 'cause guess when tomorrow comes?

Sounds more like a punishment or fine than a "tax" to me.

I love it! Only in California would you pay a tax to avoid paying taxes in another State.

I'm confused Larry are you suggesting more people should pay taxes or are the good people of California paying to much in taxes and therefore going to leave. I'll tell you this if the people making the most money and therefore paying the most taxes all leave California that will sure create a lot of opportunity for others.
