A big bravo for our city’s chief of police in selecting Dale Miller as crime analyst for his department. I had the privilege of working in the Lodi courts for many years — when such existed — and saw firsthand how insightful Dale was, and I am sure still is. He was able to see things his fellow officers were not, and also had a prodigious memory for the people who crossed his path. I admired him then and I still do.

The citizens of Lodi will be well served having someone with his talents in this position. Congratulations to both Dale and Chief Helm. We are better off because of this appointment, I am sure.
