Letter: Weakness brings about tyranny

Why do you suppose Vladimir Putin took over Crimea? Why do you suppose China is in a face-off with Japan over island territories? Why do you suppose Cuba is exploiting unrest in Venezuela, Bolivia and Nicaragua? Let’s not even bring up Syria and the Middle East. It is weakness, read your history. When weakness is displayed, tyrants step to the fore.

You will ask, “What should we do?” We should never have allowed ourselves to get in this predicament. Obama is a disaster. What would any tyrant (other than Obama) do when the leader of the free world announces surrender? One week after we announced unilateral disarmament, Putin marches into the Ukraine. Why should we be surprised by aggressive tyrants? Only the naive like John Kerry believe tyrants play by our rules.

Vote these clowns out!

In comparison to yourself, Baxxter, and Liebich, my comments are VERY KIND and mostly respectful.

Unlike this cast of characters, I refrain from calling people “mentally oblivious morons,” “Obamanoids,” “willfully ignorant,” “those with minds of mush,” “Libtards,” “Liberal lemmings," and many others.

Show me where I posted comments like these, Mr. Walters - I dare you.

Boben: Perhaps Mr. Birch considers your posts garbage and personal attacks on others since you are very, very bias yourself. Be kind, it will open doors for you. [beam]

Again, Mr. Birch....where is my comment? I believe that you post only about half of the comments I write while posting a lot of garbage from others who make personal attacks. Your bias is VERY, VERY obvious.

Last night on PBS Margeret Warrner interviewed the acting President of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk. I'm pretty sure Jerry missed it because he stated in this interview "
On the U.S., I truly appreciate the U.S. support. The House, the Senate, and, personally, the U.S. president, Barack Obama, made bold and strong steps. Is it enough to secure the world? It’s a good step forward."
If Jerry would expand his exposure I'm sure he would have a better understanding of world events.

It doesn't really work Shane's way, either. God needs superstitious humans to exist; without ignorance, God is nothing.
