The bad news is that Lodi Adopt-A-Child had to cancel its annual golf tournament due to lack of participation. The good news is that a number of businesses contributed to be hole sponsors and allowed us to keep the money.

Those businesses are: Waste Management, Vino Farms, Luster Cal, Lodi Funeral Home, Jan Sherman and Associates, Town and Country Properties, American Auto Body, Clark Pest Control, Duncan and Company CPA, Kirsten Company LLC, Cherokee Park, Umpqua Bank, Law Offices of Steve Cottrell, Mexican American Lions Club, Alegre Trucking, and Wendel Kiser Construction. Farmers and Merchants Bank donated golf balls.

We also received a number of cash donations; I do not have the donors' permission to use their names. They know who they are, and thank you.

On behalf of our board of directors, we thank all who helped put this event together and for the financial assistance we received.
