Letter: There is no contest in the gubernatorial race

With the upcoming election, it would appear the governor has a commanding lead with as much as 60 percent or more in favor of the governor. What, then, is to be expected, since the state has a commanding lead in the amount of Democrats in the state? With this commanding lead, it would be a race for first loser.

The governor insists that the twin tunnels and bullet train will be built no matter what the public has to say — it’s Moonbeam’s way or no way. I also understand that the “Moon” is entering into the world of magic as he will attempt to follow in the footsteps of the great escape artist Harry Houdini, along with making different objects disappear.

If Moonbeam is successful, come the next election he will make the Delta disappear.

Facts are not allegations Mr. Heuer. Facts are facts.

The information presented in Cortopassi's ad is quite easy to substantiate by simply reading the 2014-2015 State Budget.[sleeping]

Eh eh, no it doesn't. It makes an allegation only. Anybody, as you should know by now, can make an allegation. Where's the rebuttal? Where's the underlying supporting facts? Its nothing otherwise, simply an exercise of freedom of speech.
    [rolleyes]

Contesting ignorance is not just the civic duty of the informed, it's also an act of compassion toward those who are not.

Ed and Eric, you are both correct. California's economy is improving under Brown and Brown is making a huge mistake with the twin tunnels. BTW, big rally tomorrow at the State capitol to protest the twin tunnels...

I'm not sure whether Ed is upset that California's economy has bounced back under Moonbeam or that our unemployment has gone from 12.5% under the terminator's reign to 7.8% or that we are now paying down our debt or could it be that it was a liberal that fixed things?
