Violence and turmoil are what we should expect in these end times

My dad used to say, “Don’t expect anything, and you won’t be disappointed.” This is a very relieving thought, and especially cathartic when watching and hearing the turmoil and violence in the news every day.

What should we expect from our society, culture and government who pay little or no respect to God, life and each other? A man can’t kneel and pray in public without scorn and ridicule, nor mention God’s name in the marble halls of our state house for fear of its echo and reverberation, but homosexual men and women can stand hand-in-hand embracing and kissing on the state house portico with arms raised in victory over the accommodation and acceptance of their perversion and sin.

What does it say about us that we’ve aborted 63 million of our unborn in an unprecedented genocide, and Planned Parenthood stands gloating with a half-billion dollars of taxpayer money funding the continuation of this abomination?

The corruption that exists today at all levels of church, state and business is unbelievable and inexcusable, and it adds insult to obscenity that we, our wives and our kids are being repeatedly raped by all three.

It is written, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Personally, I believe this is true, and if it is, my dad’s wise old caveat is, too. All of the violence, turmoil, perversion and corruption are merely signs and portents of the times, and we should feel grateful for living in and experiencing these times because just as Israel becoming a sovereign nation on May 14, 1948 is a powerful sign of these end times, they all substantiate the truth of Holy Scripture and the Parousia. This knowledge gives a true and valid expectation, not in this present flawed world system, but in a coming domination that cannot fail.
