Fallen man (all of us) have bought into some horrendously destructive lies; lies that carry with them tremendous pain and heavy cost on individual, national and global levels.
Imagine what our world would be like today without the lies of pornography, abortion, homosexuality, adultery, divorce, false religion, evolutionism, alcohol and drugs. Every family under the sun has been touched in some way or another by these deadly lies.
The sinister thing about a lie is that it’s like a putrid and contagious infection. First it’s quiet and patiently parasitic, slow to overtake its host in calculated and subtlest of increments. If the organism goes unchecked, it quickens and spreads, sometimes imperceptibly until the host is consumed with its disease — flared, throbbing, sore and, if untreated, painfully terminal.
Given the symptoms our nation is suffering under, it seems we have one devil of an infection that has metastasized. Where is our common sense?
