Thank you to all of you citizens, organizations and businesses in Lodi.

Without your support, the Head West Walldogs Project would not have been possible.

There is plenty more to be done, and more individual recognition to all of you will be coming soon, as well as a story behind each artist's concept of their design. Unfortunately, there isn't enough time in a day to put all this together as quickly as we would like, but like fine art, patience has its rewards.

Sometimes, no matter how clearly you state particular facts, certain important items are reported incorrectly. Just to be clear, the nine murals were made possible by nine equally major financial donors. Those donors are the Central California Traction Company, the Tom Lund Family, Farmers and Merchants Bank, General Mills, Lodi News-Sentinel, Lodi Woodbridge Winegrape Commission, Lodi Grape Festival Association, the Brovelli Woods Boys, Meehleis-Sinclair Families, Bennett Family Foundation, FCB Homes and the citizens of Lodi.

Thanks to all of you who opened your homes to provide lodging for the artists, and those who came together that weekend to scramble for supplies and refreshments. Thanks to all the community service groups and organizations who cooked meals to feed us all. This was truly a community supported and funded project.

And, to all of my fellow committee members, you know who you are, and what you accomplished, and without your efforts, this community would never have received such a real sense of fellowship and pride. I am sincerely grateful to you all.
