This is in response to the letter from Ms. Kathy Knight In the Lodi News-Sentinel dated Nov. 27, titled "Woodbridge is a better community thanks to the efforts of Faye Comer."

Ms. Knight, after reading your letter about Ms. Comer, it sounds to me that she, indeed, deserves consideration for recognition by the Woodbridge Municipal Advisory Council and the good citizens of our community, and may well have been one of those selected for the 2012 award honors. My question is: Where were you when the WMAC was asking for nominations of citizens in our community to be honored? Did you bother to submit her name to the WMAC for consideration? Requests for nomination were published in the Lodi News Sentinel in July and August 2012.

For information purposes, the WMAC accepts applications for the "Woodbridge Excellence Award" in August and September of each year. Application information may be picked up by attending the WMAC meetings or by writing to the Woodbridge Municipal Advisory Council, P.O. Box 754, 95258, or contacting a member of the council.
