Our current crop of media always skips real news. Thankfully, there is the Internet, where it was enjoyable watching the new Icelandic prime minister talk of the successful overthrow of their corrupt government — all of it done peacefully.

I do not enjoy watching Democrats and Republicans spouting off another "not my fault" statement when it comes to American politics. They have nothing to worry about as they have all "lawyered" themselves above any economic problems and granted themselves insider-trading perks.

The overthrow of the Icelandic Central Bank was especially interesting as the Ben Bernanke counterpart refused to resign with the rest of the government. The new Icelandic parliament graciously passed a proper law and threw him out along with the FBI. I would have added tar and feathers to that bill.

I only regret it has not happened here yet.
