Letter: Printing more money will not solve our debt issues

Who runs the government or has control? The people have given their power to those who govern. They have lost their freedom to a socialist form of government, to which our Republic has changed. Seven out of 10 politicians are on the government dole.

Income tax, nor the printing of more paper money can cover this or help us get out of our debt. Raise minimum wage? The cost of living will increase.

Medicare, food stamps, Pell Grants, federal aid, all increased since Obama — $2.1 trillion spent on socialist programs. Yes, and payments in government contracts all increased since Obama took office.

And even now, government seeks to get the voters angry enough to support going to war, which will lead to a major war to get us out of a depression.

I blame a nation of people who have voted their freedoms away to get a socialistic form of government, and who want things that are free. Nothing is free.
