What we need is a clean sweep of the lousy government in office next election — vote them out. We need new blood in office, and we need to stop the lousy spending habits that we’re in.

President Obama will go down in history as one of the worst presidents we have ever had, bypassing Nixon, Carter and Clinton.

Wake up, voters, and get smart.

Guess what Mike. Not only am I not registered to vote, but I have rescinded my signature on all of the voter registration cards that I have ever filed in my entire lifetime. The signature on voter registration is trouble. Not me.

Eric: I don`t hate Obama, just the job he is doing, and of course I have to blame the Demo`s in Ca. for the way the state is being run, can`t blame a Republican since there aren`t any in California.

Or Simon and crew prefer to present only one side of the discussion with just enough dissent to keep it (from their point of view) exciting.

WE take time to develop and author a post that never gets posted while those who just copy and paste them always end up here. I would assume they (LNS) is afraid of some 1st Amendment challenge (which they would lose) and so are afraid not to post all the libelous and inciteful bits that pass as acceptable discussion.

$17 trillion and QE infinity hardly equates to an improving or recovering economy...

As usual Ms Bobin you're on top of things. I didn't even realize there was someplace to check on comment services namely "About Comments." This was dated Sep 28 while I was out of the country.

The problem with this attitude, reflected by several here as well is just ignorance.

For all of their blustery talk and trying to act like they know the Constitution, they don't.

The letter writer urges us to "vote them out. " Well that might be nice, but here's something FOX isn't letting out.....We don't vote for every single member of either the House or the Senate. As we also don't vote for the governors of the other 49 states, nor the members of their legislative bodies.

May I loosely state, many other ignorant people say this but if you live in Lodi CA,
You vote for our Governor, Lt. Governor, Sec. State, etc. We vote for the legislator that represents our district as well as the state senator in our part of CA. We don't/can't vote for any other legislator in any other district.

We don't vote for candidates for Congressman or Senator from Nevada, South Dakota doesn't vote for Pelosi, in fact, the letter writer doesn't even get to vote for or against Pelosi.

So please, stop showing others how ignorant you are about the elections for members of state or federal legislative bodies as well as Constitutional offices.
There are many other issues you can choose to demonstrate your ignorance. Find one of them....like how many times the word "freedom" appears in the UN charter.

I guess if you hate Obama than anything he accomplishes will look bad to you and the recovery of our economy will also be met with resistance. You can spin numbers all you want doesn’t change facts and to extend your metaphor it appears what is getting flushed by the liberals are the conservatives.

Well Eric, in a way I suppose you are correct. Ask anyone with knowledge of Omamacare and they will tell you it is on the road to failure, Now on to the larger problems, lets start with Benghazi, AP phone records, IRS, NSA spying on our used to be friends. Ohhhh Eric, the deficit, thanks to Barry rose $7 trillion since he has been in office and projected to reach $20 by the time he leaves office. Job growth is down after the U S shutdown with many of the new jobs were at the entry level. Concerning cars, the auto makers are selling cars for many reasons, two that come to mind, 0% on the life of the loan and boosting the loan to 60 and even 72 months. The dealership will make money one way or another. And yes Eric the Democrats do serve a pourpose, same as the water in your toilet

The LNS has decided that it needs to monitor every comment that is written before they allow them to be posted (and, of course, most dependent upon who you are).

"We have temporarily turned on comment moderation while we review our comment policies. This means comments will not appear until they have been reviewed by Lodi News-Sentinel staff. Also, we are aware of a lingering problem where some readers are not able to comment on metered content stories in sections such as news and sports because the comment box does not appear. We have now been able to reproduce the problem and hope to "

Its nice to see the comment section up and running. Apparently the LNS experienced its own computer glitch and can sympathize (a little) with the healthcare.gov roll out bump.

Ed is right "all the problems the country is going through, blame it on the Democrats."

Obamacare, recovering auto industry, recovering housing , strong markets, shrinking deficits, unemployment dropping and an improving economy, we'll take the blame for all of it

Keep up that voting record and maybe things can get better. Vote out all tea party candidates.

Before every election someone has to say "lets vote'em all out!." Every time we do a big sweep election like 2010 things only got worse as we lost thinking politicians and gained a lot of tea bagger intellectually challenged. So be careful what you wish for.

Hi John. I just got back from vacationing in Turkey, Greece, Ukraine and Bulgaria. Nice to see you here. And keep that voting record going.

John says, he has never voted for a Republican, aaaahhhhh sssoooooo, the truth be known, all the problems the country is going through, blame it on the Democrats. BTW, come next election the bigger the broom the better, don`t sweep the problems under the rug, sweep them out of office. Starting with Reid, Polosi, and Finestine. There should be an age limit on the Supremes, first hint, a walker next to their seat. Good thing Barry is finished in a few years, if the country makes it that far.

Do not blame me, Ira. I have never voted for a Republican.
