Can anyone tell me why we support all the foreign countries in Asia? What do we get out of the money we spend? It the truth be known, we probably support Russia!

We have in office the most corrupt elected officials. This starts all the way from the president to our own city council. We the people have no say about how we run our city. They write their own ticket.

People, make things happen! Men and women — make things happen. We all have pride and shame, courage and cowardice, strengths and weaknesses. That is what makes the world go ‘round.

Elections are coming up. Get out and vote right, or wrong! Let’s get real. We need a change! We had a surplus in funds this past year and what did the council do? They gave a bonus to city employees and then talk about raising our water and electricity services. Did we have any say about it? No!

If you are planning your vacation this year, why not be like our president and family? They have been on one for six years! Now, the president’s wife, kids and grandma are over in China, and we are lucky if we go to Lake Tahoe for a weekend!

As a matter of fact Ira, Russia is actually given free military equipment despite President Obama's punitive sanctions against Moscow.
