Compromise is not always a good thing
Imagine that you are at a rural elementary school PTA meeting and 50 percent of the parents are in favor of letting their kids jump off of barn roofs. You and I, on the other hand are absolutely opposed, to this dangerous sport. Any room for compromise? I think not!
How about reckless, irresponsible politicians in Washington, D.C. running up a $15 trillion debt? How do you spell "pretty soon the U.S. dollar will lose most of its value?" How do you spell "equal outcomes mean that most of us will be poor and lose our rights as free citizens"? Everywhere this "progressive" insanity is tried, the results are the same! Do not compromise with people who will destroy you!
If I have offended you, please name one country on planet Earth where this has worked. By the way, if you would like to climb up on the roof of a barn, I will hold the ladder for you.

Walter... the airplane was yellow, not green... please be more careful. If not, it might turn red when the temperature drops below 45 degrees...don't you think?
The consequence of the above is that it will be too cold to drink the non union beer you mentioned.Obviously.

What night of the week is this PTA meeting?
The math.... if I read this correctly, there are a total of 4 people at the meeting? There's you and me (that's 50% of 4) and then you have the complaining parents.
Do we have to use a specific barn? Will we all go to the same barn? Do we notify our insurance carrier before or wait to see if someone get's hurt? If I don't have a barn, will a shed be ok to use?
Do you know what the PTA isn't? It isn't teachers and only 1 administrator and the rest are complaining parents whose participation is only granted because they have some sort of unfounded or mistaken complaint.

Larry, we’re doomed!!
There’s nothing we can to change it so..
C’mon over and you can hold the ladder for me while I climb on to the roof of the barn…
I need to chase the pigeons out and make a repair or two.
It shouldn’t take much time and yes, I plan on climbing back down.
I’ll buy you a frosty cold beer for your time.
We then can sit in the shade, chit chat, enjoy our brew and forget about the problems of the world…
If only for a few moments!!
I’ll make it a Coors, if you prefer a “non union” beer!!
