Folks, all of us must work overtime between now and November to decipher/disclose what President Obama and his minions are up to.

This is not rocket science — rather, it is complex chicanery.

Obama is following in Woodrow Wilson's footsteps. He wants to establish a cabal of biggovernment philosopher kings to run this country. The Constitution stands in his way. He is now packing the Supreme Court and all facets of government with people who wish to change us from a Constitutional Republic to a "new age" monarchy, where intellectual overseers guide all government actions to bring about Obama's vision of "fairness" and "equality!"

What does this mean for you? You are going to support deadbeats! As it was with Jimmy Carter — we are all going to share the misery. The only people who do not share the misery will be those in charge. Pelosi will still have her private jet. Members of Congress will still have their perks. President Obama will continue to destroy the world's most successful nation.

Watch it happen or throw the bums out in 2010 and 2012. These people don't care about you — it's POWER. Arrogance on display. Obama truly believes that we are too stupid to stop him. What if he is right?

Jerry Osgood

Ey, are you asserting that Obama ended wiretapping of citizens?

ELECTION YEAR, the BIRTHER movement may be old but until our nitwit president provides his actual certificate of live birth it won't ever go away. Give me 10 minutes on my computer and I can make a certificate just like the one they produced trying to quiet the questions. What IS he trying to hide anyway?

Wow...so much hate and name calling. That's all you have left...Dogs, give up the BIRTHER garbage. That is just so old.

ELECTION YEAR...Obummer is Pi**ed that Arizona did something without his blessing. Arizona begged his administration to do something but he was too busy running around the world apologizing to everyone. He is the ultimate control freak and it is his way or the highway. Americans are getting sick and tired of him dictating policies and ignoring the will of citizens. And you liberal morons drool every time he opens his mouth spewing his rhetoric and lies. He needs to be impeached or at the very least kicked out on his arrogan butt in 2012.

It`s not to late, remove Osgood, Beck and O`Riley from the cross and replace them with Bill ( the puke ) Maher, Olberman and and a third of your own choosing, from all of those names, no doubt about it, going to need more crosses.

  • posted at 2:47 pm on Wed, Jun 16, 2010.

Whenever you Leftist, Pinko, Sickos, Whakkos mention the name Glen Beck or Rush, you have to include those who you paste lip [tonguechow] service to their dorsal posteriors, bill maher, keith olberman, rachael maddow, most of the view, chris matthews and a host of hard left nutty activests.

It would seem that most if not all the bloggers today have nailed Jerry Osgood to a cross, along with Glen Beck. Now all that is needed is one more to make it a threesome. O`Riley ????Barry has more important things on his mind, like were did he put that birth certificate showing he was born in the US and not the one proving he was born in Kenya.

I believe you are quite misinformed. The the three provisions that the Obama administration requested to be extended had nothing to do with wire tapping citizens.

  • posted at 10:52 am on Wed, Jun 16, 2010.

Election Year, Obama extended the Patriot Act, including wiretapping citizens. So it's his baby now.

Lodi Joe wrote: "You keep your head in the sand and let Obama and his crew gradually tighten the noose around your civil liberties and destroy the Constitution."First of all, Lodi Joe, I think the Bush administration already did that with the USA Patriot Act (read it sometime and educate yourself) - I guess you conveniently forgot about that. And if Obama wants to destroy my civil liberties, why is he upset that AZ's SB1070 would potentially do that.Right-wing nuts always forget that they can't have it both ways and go to extreme lengths to twist the facts to match whatever "point" they are trying to make. Laughable.

World's most successful nation? You must mean before the Crash of 2007. You must be talking about the nation BEFORE Republican deregulation? If you are, I agree with that part but your facts are suspect.

Obie's favorite propagandist, Keith Olbermann commenting on the "idiot-in-chief's" prime time BS session last night, "It was a good speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days." Not quite the ringing endorsement Obie was hoping for. MSNBC's Chris "thrill up my leg" Matthews chimed in, "I don't sense executive command." Oh my, maybe Obie should have a few styrofoam columns brought in for his next speech.

Is the "progressive" movement dangerous because it takes money out of MY paycheck and sends it to those who have no other means of support? Checked the mirror lately?

  • posted at 7:20 am on Wed, Jun 16, 2010.

Poor Jerome, sitting there rubbing his thighs together while he watches his hero, Glenn Beck, no longer able to discern fact from fiction. After making sure he has paid weak lip service to "other opinions", he can't bring himself to Google "Lies told by Glenn Beck" which will garner more than 20 MILLION results - certainly enough to keep the unemployed Jerome occupied for some time.

If republicanism is fundamentally against government intervening with the private sector, whey then is there so much noise from the right about how Obama isn't doing enough regarding the gulf spill--caused by a corporation?

  • posted at 5:49 am on Wed, Jun 16, 2010.

Well, election year - what one needs first is the desire to identify a fact as either truth or dismiss it with facts that would identify it as a falsehood. And the only way one can do that is to research those facts independently. (You should understand, however that on its face a "fact" is not necessarily "truth.")Now you seem to at least watch/listen to Glenn Beck but you disagree with virtually everything he offers apparently without taking at least a little time to determine if he's lying. That's your right. Of course, it makes me wonder why you would put yourself through such an ordeal, but I really don't care how you spend your time. However, as one example my own independent research into the mindset and activities of the Woodrow Wilson administration supports virtually everything Beck has put forth about him. The modern progressive movement was in fact supported by his administration; and it is very dangerous indeed. If you choose to dismiss it, than again that is your right – but I will certainly not waste my time trying to convince you otherwise.

Jerome wrote: "Beck, on the other hand backs up every thing he offers with facts and evidence." That has to be the funniest thing I've heard all week.Glenn Beck is a showman who dazzles the simple-minded public with a chalkboard and fear. Nothing more. Please state one "fact" that Beck has produced...and I don't mean the obvious ones that all of the media has reported on...one fact that backs up his conspiracy theories...like the FEMA detention camps...Facts, Jerome, Facts!Speaking of Jon Stewart, I loved his expose of Beck crying about how he was the only one who dared to show video of the Israeli attack on the aide ship and then proceeded to show all of the channels that had aired the exact same video the previous day. Beck is so arrogant that he thinks his viewers only watch his show and would never have known the difference.

In spite of how O'Reilly thinks he and Beck get along so well, I highly doubt it. O'Reilly, in his pathetic effort to keep things "fair and balanced" goes so far overboard that he often refuses to see the trees for the forest. He's as wishy-washy as they come. Oh, and Beck was hardly "red-faced." What O'Reilly fears most is that if Beck ever grabs his time-slot, he'd blow his popularity record to smithereens.Beck, on the other hand backs up every thing he offers with facts and evidence. But more important is that he consistently implores his viewers/listeners to think for themselves; to verify everything they hear not only from the politicians, but from he himself. He follows Reagan with his "Trust but Verify" stance.I've found that those who are so violently opposed to hearing other opinions – regardless of how logical or outlandish they may appear - are simply afraid to consider all possibilities. Clearly, President Obama and his administration are not what the majority of Americans believed they would get when they voted him into office. Sadly, I'm of the mindset that must first verify before I'll ever trust him.

Speaking of failures, you know that the "community organizer" is losing some his base when Jon Stewart, after watching the Obama speech last night commented, "when both of his solutions are cars running on oil soaked pelicans" That's funny stuff right there.

  • posted at 3:29 am on Wed, Jun 16, 2010.

Funny how Obama's favorite MSM shill, the NY Times is now saying what everyone already knows that the "community organizer in chief" bungled the clean up. Don't worry my little liberal sheep, he is going to create another commission and appoint another czar to oversee the worst disaster in American history. Can you imagine this circus performer compared the gulf spill to the 9-11 attacks.

I just read an article on the American Thinker website that really says in a very believable way that our Prez BHO is a Muslim through and through. His actions sure indicate this and I and many others have believed this from his words and actions for some time now. Americans beware!!!!

ELECTION YEAR... You keep your head in the sand and let Obama and his crew gradually tighten the noose around your civil liberties and destroy the Constitution. One day you will wake up and say " how did we let this happen? ". Thousands of military people died to keep America free and now Obama wants to rule as a monarch. You going to let him? I'm not.

  • posted at 2:03 am on Wed, Jun 16, 2010.

I agree with Jerry Osgood's opinion regarding politicians not caring about the citizens of the USA. I believe it IS about the power. And I do not watch Glen Beck. In the current technology age, there are many places to verify information. I believe Obama has lied to us multiple times about different subjects. I respect your right to state your own opinions, just as I have stated mine. There shouldn't be a need to put people down for stating their opinions.

Election year: If you want to know where Beck gets this garbage, I suggest a new book due out in a few weeks called Common Nonsense. It is a detailed look at Beck and the snake oil he sells. Great read...I got an advanced reader copy.

Shame on LNS for printing this garbage. Don't you people have any principles?

Jerry...nothing more than a Glenn Beck parrot. Poor soul. Think for yourself for a change and stop repeating what you hear on the television. The sad thing is that even Bill O'Reilly told Glenn Beck to "shut-up" with the Woodrow Wilson conspiracy garbage. Glenn was red-faced, to say the least.
