Once again prom dress donations by individuals made the fourth annual Prom Closet-Operation Fairy Tale, held at Liberty Ranch High School in Galt, a dream come true for girls in Galt, Lodi and Elk Grove who needed a free dress. Parent volunteers, seamstresses and students from Liberty Ranch Fashion Club once again helped make the event a success.

Special thanks to Deanna Sanders for her ongoing support, Ed Sanders for his manpower and Danielle Sanders for her initial vision.

Another shout-out to those providing raffle prizes; Galt’s L’Chayim to Life for a gift basket and beautiful shoulder-wrap, and Judy Halstead for beauty item baskets. Secondhand Rose in Lodi was gracious to be a drop-off spot for donated dresses, shoes and accessories. Prom dresses, dress shoes, costume jewelry and accessories will be collected for next year’s event once school resumes in the fall.

Once again, thank you for your on-going support of the Prom Closet.
