Both my wife Barbara and I would like to thank Pam Bauserman on her Q-and-A interview with John Griffin. Our children, Stuart and Anna, had John for a coach a total of 14 years. He is an incredible swimming coach and person.

To quote John, "Work hard and achieve success ... dedicate yourself to something and see it through," was his mantra every day at workout. Our children benefited from that type of environment and coaching style.

Thank you, John, and all the wonderful coaches on staff at Lodi Swim Club, for enriching our family's life.
