This letter is a thank you to the Relay for Life committee members, team captains, sponsors, and participants,

As chair of this year’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life committee, I want to personally and publicly thank you for all your hard work and dedication into this year’s Relay. Each one of you worked so hard to make this year a success, and through your efforts we raised more than $120,000 for the American Cancer Society. This outstanding show of support proves that the people of Lodi stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the American Cancer Society to achieve its missions of eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. It has been my pleasure to serve as your 2013 chair.

It is not too late to support the Relay for Life of Lodi. Donations can be made online by finding our event online. I hope to see you all again at next year’s Relay for Life, because there is no finish line until we find a cure.

Tiffany Trull

2013 Relay for Life Chairwoman

Lodi

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
