In my opinion, there aren't superlatives sufficient to describe the performance of Esther Kemalyan-Roche at the Hutchins Street Square Performing Arts Theater on Sunday. She is a concert pianist. Simply stated, two words say it all: sheer elegance.

Perhaps more impressive were some of her commentaries between pieces, particularly when she mentioned family prayer every evening with her husband Matthew Roche and their five children. Matthew Roche sang a number of selections with the accompaniment of his wife's piano playing, and was highly impressive.
