Tree Lodi wishes to thank the Lodi News-Sentinel, and particularly Maggie Creamer and Katie Nelson, for the two recent articles on local wilderness areas. Both articles were most informative, and the subject needed to be brought to the public's attention so that the areas receive all possible help to improve and maintain them.

Public access should go hand-in-hand with education, preservation and respect for the land, which were well brought out in the articles.

Thank you again for good community education.
