I am writing to let everyone who lives in the city of Lodi know what a great medical response system is in place for our city.

On Saturday, April 26, I suffered a serious fall while working to refinish my backyard swimming pool. Within minutes of the fall, the Lodi Fire Department, Station 4, and AMR Ambulance were there administering the best possible care I could hope for. I was immediately taken to the closest trauma center while AMR paramedics Julie and L.J. made my pain as bearable as possible due to my injuries.

I am now recovering, and it is going to be a long recovery, but I cannot thank Lodi Fire Station 4 and AMR Medical Response for the best possible care anyone could ever hope for under the circumstances.

Thank you all for your care and support on that day. It meant the world to me and will never be forgotten.
