Letter: Our leaders need to be more vigilant in the fight against terror
Posted: June 17, 2016

On occasion, in the past, our political leaders have referred to ISIS in medical terms referring to them as a cancer on the globe. Following the latest “tumorous” attack in Orlando when leadership was asked what could be done about future attacks, the response in part, was that we needed to be more vigilant. What does that mean? We need to start looking “over” our collective shoulder and peeping “over” our neighbor’s fence keeping a closer eye on each other?
