    Well said, Mr. Schmidt.

With 94% of military recruits under the age of 25, I think Wade Heath's generation is already well represented and making personal sacrifices beyond our imaginations.

But here is what Wade wrote in 2011 about his "generation:"

"Soon it'll be our turn to replace the players on the field and I wonder whether or not we'll get half of our team out of the locker room because, after all, they need to update their status" (on Facebook).

Right now they stand shoulder to shoulder with the failed hippies of the past, bitching about what they don't have. Newsflash: Your success is up to you, morons."

    And

"It's a post-9/11, obese, anorexic, smartphoning, celeb-obsessed, blissfully unaware, disrespectful, narcissistic, politically absent, social networking, self-absorbed, live for the moment, morally inept, entitled generation.

Or as I like to call us, the "iGeneration." Maybe I should create our official T-shirt: "Rich, spoiled kids for communism!"

Obviously, Wade Heath needs to get out in the world more often and see the sacrifices that his generation is making for our country - the same sacrifices that generations past (whom he wishes to honor with "banners") have made while he stands on the sidelines with brilliant suggestions to honor those whose ranks he would never dream of joining.

I think it would be beautiful if Wade Heath would honor our veterans by joining the military.
