Ms Bobin stated...I didn't realize you were that obtuse. But obviously, you cling to the myth that our current economic woes were created by Obama and think Bush has nothing of which to be ashamed...
Great post Ms Bobin. It demonstrates how you perceive you know fact, when in reality you do not.
You draw the conclusion erroneously that I think our economic mess was created by Obama and Bush had nothing to do with it... thanks for the laugh Ms Bobin. You always deliver the goods.

I really didn't think I needed to help you count on your fingers, Mr. Baumbach.
You obviously found by comment about the Bush debacle humorous. I was only giving you a historical perspective. Most 25 year olds, unlike Wade Heath, graduated from college in 2008 and were confronted by the economic difficulties created by the Bush Administration - way before Obama was elected or took office.
I didn't realize you were that obtuse. But obviously, you cling to the myth that our current economic woes were created by Obama and think Bush has nothing of which to be ashamed. Probably explains his self-imposed exile from the public eye - he is so modest he doesn't want to be applauded for his expert handling of the economy during his reign.

Ms bobin stated...Just because it took Wade 7 years to graduate from college...
More humor Ms Bobin... thank you!!!. Fridays are normally a good day for lighter subject matter. You rarely disappoint.
I hope you can provide more Ms Bobin... please explain the relationship between the length of time one takes to obtain a degree and intelligence level what whatever point you were attempting to make... It was so vague that a thoughtful person would have to guess what it is you were trying to say...

Mr. Baumbach wrote: "The humor just keeps on a coming... one claims others do not know what they are talking about only to follow with data that illustrates one does not have a clue... great comedy Ms Bobin. Thank you for the entertainment."
Unfortunately, Mr. Baumbach has just lumped himself with the "does not have a clue" group along with Wade Heath.
Just because it took Wade 7 years to graduate from college, it does not mean that all 25 year-olds have done the same. Most have already completed their BA's and graduate school and/or have embarked on their careers or have gotten interim jobs.
When did the bottom fall out of the housing industry? - 2007 or before.
When did the first TARP get signed? - 2008
When did Lehman Brothers declare bankruptcy? - 2008
When did Goldman Sachs get bailed out - 2008
When did Obama take office? - 2009

Ms Bobin stated first...Sorry, Wade, you have no idea what you are talking about. You have only one view...
Ms Bobin stated later...Most graduated from college just before the Bush debacle and the downfall of the economy that he caused...

Sorry, Wade, you have no idea what you are talking about. You have only one view, ultra-conservative and narrow-minded. It is too bad that your time in a more sophisticated setting like LA did not open your mind to the world.
My son is your same age (same generation), was at LHS with you along with many of his friends who are now responsible members of society. They are going to school, working hard, paying their bills and have no sense of entitlement.
Most graduated from college just before the Bush debacle and the downfall of the economy that he caused - none saw it coming. They networked to find employment both here and abroad and none went home to lounge on their parents' sofa and wait it out.
To issue a blanket condemnation of an entire generation - to think that YOU are entitled to be the judge and jury, is arrogance beyond belief.

Once again Wade has not bothered to understand the facts of a situation and instead spews his ridiculous conservitive ideology. Does he actually get paid for this crap? Glad I cancelled my subscription.

It's a post-9/11, obese, anorexic, smart phoning, celeb-obsessed, blissfully unaware, disrespectful, narcissistic, politically absent, social networking, self-absorbed, live for the moment, morally inept, entitled generation.
Mr. Heath... your insight and intuition is remarkable for a young man who does not have 25 years under his belt in life's experience as an adult .
However, I think your description above is more broad than you perceive. I would say that you described the modern American left comprised of all generations, not just yours. Most make their home in the democratic party and unions.

Mr. Heath: in a word, Outstanding!
