Well that's a bit extreme. No need for all of that.

Carrying a semi-auto pistol unloaded (no round in the chamber) is how the Israelis carry. They're fast on the draw and retracting the slide and loading a round.

That being said, cops should carry loaded guns at all times. If we start establishing police gun-free zones here and there and not here except during these hours.....

Get a slilghtly different holster that covers the trigger gaurd and that's it.

Steve.....next time you come for our weekly screaming match,......you are wrong on this.

Not every problem has a solution that >improves< the whole situation. If such were the case, our legislators with all their unreadable laws would be saints. Since that is far from the case, I cut your oped in about half and it is perfect !

If you dont want police armed, next time, call a crip, a blood or a hippie.....or me !!

On another issue, which kind of wing nut are you ? leftie, pinko, commie, right wing nut job, bottom feeding slime eating puke bag, or other ? I think you are required to declare one to be an approved writer for the lodi bloggers syndicate...let me know which.
