Nice job Bob...simple and to the point...I agree...these people need to cut the posts off their beds so the boogie monsters can't get under there. Problem solved! Of course...there is the problem of that one in the closet...

Well we all have been in the "war" on something for my whole life. In the 60's and 70's the Soviets were going to get us. Sometime in the 70's the earth was cooling and we were headed for an ice age. The 80's was the ozone and we all were going to die of cancer in a short time. The 90's it's global warming and we'll all be flooded and cooked in a short time.

Gore was so worried about the problem till we all found out about the way he uses energy....He's out of the picture now. If you are not on board with global warming you lose all your funding if you are a higher education institute.

My point is this. It's easier to preach gloom and doom, than it is, everything is fine. And we need a public enemy, i.e. 60's, 70's, 80's an 90's. The earth had a lot of global warming since the last ice age, which I'm am glad for. The temp on the earth is always changing....It's a fluid thing, nothing on the planet stays the same. No we shouldn't trash the planet, but to say we all are going to end by such and such date is nuts too. Or may be we should look at the Mayan calender and we won't see next year anyway.

    God bless

The Native Americans were able to predict the weather many years in advance without the use of scientific weather equipment. When you live with the land and not on it you learn a lot. Simply put, the earth is a tea-pot...the hotter it is the more water that evaporates...more evaporated water moves over the lands and cools...voile!!! Rain. Rain cools the land and air regardless of the morons who live on it...like AG, BO, NP, BB, DF, DK, HR and the other sky-is-falling scientific Boo Boos.

Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995
    By Jonathan Petre

Professor Jones has been in the spotlight since he stepped down as director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit after the leaking of emails that sceptics claim show scientists were manipulating data.
The raw data, collected from hundreds of weather stations around the world and analysed by his unit, has been used for years to bolster efforts by the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to press governments to cut carbon dioxide emissions.

Well, a stopped clock is right twice a day but otherwise useless. That's the strength of Steve Hansen's cherry -picked opinion on Climate Change. Climate science, like medicine, is done using peer-reviewed journals. Solid evidence in science is referred to by quoting a journal article; not "some guy."

If you want to see accurate references to journal articles you might check out http://www.climate.gov/#climateWatch. You might refer to Scientific American…http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=seven-answers-to-climate-contrarian-nonsense.

But just like if you had a heart attack or if your two year old had nibbled a mushroom; you don't take the hearsay of "some guy in Lodi" as a valid path to treatment. You go to the best. Look for yourself.

Steve: Good article...10 years ago these same people were predicting a mini ice-age. Hmmmm...would 20 feet of snow in several days in Alaska be a preview...maybe they should have ramped up ;their solar panels. Of course the wind generators would also need to be unleashed. Are their predictions known as junk science...you know garbage in equals garbage out? Let's ask the British institute of sciece about their cooked science (like cooked books) and see if they can fudge the numbers enough to make up a good answer. Ozone anyone?
