frown? interesting choice of words... maybe his star struck supporters would simply
be frowning by now, but people hurt by his actions are doing a bit more that that.

As far as congress... media hype. No one can vote congress in or out...the presidency is different. I expect even more congressional conservatives to be elected after the dust settles. If Steve's point had any merit, the conservatives would diminish in numbers. We will see next year.

People may frown on Obama but, if public approval ratings are anything to go by, they hate the Republicans in Congress more.

    -Yep,

And I doubt Chris Matthews shares the same sentiments with the Ex Google
head when he asked Obama to raise his taxes. That thrill he once had up his leg
has most likely turned into a lurch backwards now that he realizes Obama finds pleasure digging deep into his pockets.

Mr. Guzzardi wrote regarding Hillary Clinton: “The pro-Clinton faction hasn't forgotten that a constant theme in her 2008 campaign was that Obama didn't have the necessary experience to be president. In retrospect, Clinton looks ‘prescient.’”

This “theme” wasn’t wholly Ms. Clinton’s – in fact I would attach that label to most everyone who opposed Barack Obama’s irregular rise in American politics. Of course there were plenty of other factors that had him win that election, not the least of which was a pathetic undertaking by John McCain. But equally guilty are those in the media who completely failed in their jobs I suppose because of those peculiar thrills running up their collective legs.

So here we are about to embark upon another campaign for the presidency. The nation couldn’t be more depressed. Now that Obama has been properly vetted by his own record, let’s hope and pray that the outcome will be different this time around.
