    Anytime the government can force citizens off their rightfully owned property under the guise of "eminent domain", I worry and am resistant to. Especially when that property is the livelihood of that owner.

    Joe,

    In twenty years, when the high speed rail still hasn't been built and the reality that it should have been built twenty years ago comes to pass, it will be even more expensive to build it. Frankly, I don't understand why people are into such a self-fullfulling prophecy..
