You must be kidding me...the Iraq? and Afghanistan wars were "direct responses?"

In whose imagination? - obviously a rhetorical question since we now know that Bush and Cheney and his cohorts cooked the need to invade Iraq out of thin air and sold it to Congress and the American people.

    And "crippled the Taliban?"

The Taliban will be around long after Bush, Cheney, and every other Bush Administration official are long dead. All we have done is taken them out of power and then chased the Taliban back and forth across the Middle East. They aren't even tired yet! And to boot we installed a crook who has stolen millions from the US government. Such a deal!!

"Crippled them?" Not even in anyone's wildest imagine have we done that.
