Turners had an alley on one side and Shunkies Men's Store on the other.

Turner Hardware was next to Penney's. How about when the Mortuary next to Scrambles was Danken Catalog order store. Let's not forget Posers where the House of Clocks is now. When the Library was in Carnegie Forum. And when the current library location was an elementary school.

And I don't need an old phone book to remember these places. Not that Gwen does either. :)

Mrs Mitchell, errr, Mrs Paden, is slightly mistaken. It was Okazaki's who had the best "shaved ice." Sasaki's tv store, "Saks," was on Sacramento & Locust.

It is sad that the drunks & druggies took over Main Street. Lodi's Japantown was such a cool place.
