(StatePoint) The holiday season is all about giving to others, but sometimes you just need to reward yourself.

All that hunting for perfect gifts can be taxing on both you and your wallet. This is why shoppers this holiday season should make sure they are easily putting some cash back into their wallets. A cash back rewards credit card with no rotating categories, no sign-ups and no limits to the cash shoppers can earn, such as Capital One’s Quicksilver cash rewards credit card, makes it simple to earn cash back on every purchase, every day.

And it’s not just holiday spending that can earn you some extra cash back. What you spend year-round on necessities and luxuries can also earn you rewards. For instance, the annual average spend per person includes $3,372 on groceries and $1,668 on gas, plus over $2,000 on dining out, according to recent statistics from the Statistic Brain Research Institute.

All that spending can get you some green back to reward yourself.
