(Family Features) What do zebras, cows, crocodiles and leopards all have in common? Fabulous skin. Real or faux, the animal print trend is still going strong. In fact, some now consider it a design "classic."

There may be times when zebra or leopard is more fashionable than cow or cheetah, but designers never truly leave this exotic look behind.

Animal prints fit in perfectly with the current interior design trend toward more neutral, organic homes. Think beige walls, white furniture, bamboo flooring and an over-sized leopard print rug.

There is no need to do a total redesign to bring the look into your home. A small investment, such as a pillow or tchotchke, can freshen up your living room. The slightly more daring might invest a little more by purchasing a dramatic stair runner or reupholstering a pair of chairs.

A seasoned home decorator can pair several animal prints together in the same room. The key is to balance the scale of each pattern and stick to a similar color scheme. Too many bold, competing prints will take the look from trendy to tacky. Proceed with caution.

Some things never go out of style and, it seems, animal prints may just be one of them. So, celebrate the ongoing love affair interior designers are having with animal prints.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
