(Family Features) The holidays should be filled with nothing but joy, but making the rounds to find the right gifts for everyone on your list can make the ho-ho-hos seem a little ho-hum.

This season, make that stack of gift cards the "ghost of holidays past" and look for presents that embrace the unique style, personality and interests of the loved ones you're buying for. Use this guide to help you find the hottest gifts and ideas to suit everyone on your list, and make you the coolest gifter south of the North Pole.

From vintage-themed apparel to outdoor adventures, these gifts are sure to be crowd pleasers:

Fashion-forward finds

Motorcycle-inspired apparel like leather jackets and boots are all the rage for 2014, both on and off the runway. For that perfectly worn, vintage look that will thrill those with a bold, sexy style, whether they're a motorcycle rider or not, check out the Harley-Davidson Men's Vintage Leather Biker Jacket. Inspired by the pioneers of rocker biker culture, it boasts unrivaled classic rebel style with its heavy-weight vintage leather shell, distressed seams and chain-stitched embroidered graphics. Snatch this jacket and other fun gifts that are bursting from the seams with attitude from the Harley-Davidson online gift guide at www.H-D.com/Holiday.

Sky's the limit

Help the adventurer in your life unwrap an unforgettable experience by gifting them an excursion, such as skydiving or rock climbing. Look for local options that are relevant to your region - and perhaps accompany them if you dare. An outdoor adventure will be a welcome change, and a truly memorable merry maker.

One for the road

For globe trotters, or those who just wish they were, prepare them for departure with a travel bag packed with accessories - including air miles towards a trip. Everybody appreciates a quality tote that can easily carry all their "must haves," so look for a heavier duty canvas duffel and stuff it with items for their next adventure: passport cover, dopp kit and, of course, the means to get there with air miles or a pre-paid fuel card.

Barware that rocks

No matter how smooth and delicious the cocktail is, it always tastes better when consumed out of fine barware. Help those on your gift list express their inner rebel and toast their favorite holiday libations in style with the new sleek, etched Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield Rocks Glasses or Stemless Wine Glasses.

A new pursuit

Treat a special someone to a new experience or help them take a favorite pastime to the next level with the gift of a class or series of classes. Whether its snowboarding lessons, mixology for the one in pursuit of crafting the perfect cocktail, grilling 101 for the guy or girl who loves to spice things up, or a learn-to-ride motorcycle safety class, you'll give a gift that keeps on giving by helping them learn something new.

These tips have you fully equipped for successful holiday gifting, so get to shopping and finding the best picks for those who matter most to you this holiday season.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
