Clarence Henry Simon, 91, of Lockeford, died Jan. 8. He was born June 27, 1921 in Fairmont, Minn.

Mr. Simon served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a B-29 pilot. He was a member of the Clements Community Church, Lodi Masonic Lodge No. 256 F.&A.M., Stockton Scottish Rite Bodies and the Ben Ali Shrine. He enjoyed playing Cribbage and riding as "co-pilot" when brother Shriners were transporting children to the Shriner Hospital in Sacramento.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude B. Simon; and daughters, Kathy Christensen and Mary Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel of the Donahue Funeral Home, with Lodi Masonic Lodge No. 256 F.&A.M. officiating. Private interment will be in the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817; or to the Clements Community Church, 18544 E. Walnut St., Clements, CA 95227.

Donahue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
