Leroy Hilscher, 82 of Lodi, died Nov. 9. He was born Feb. 16, 1928 in Kulm, N.D.

Mr. Hilscher served in the U.S. Air Force receiving an honorable discharge. He worked as a electronic technician for the Federal Aviation Administration Fremont Center. He enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by a daughter, Constance Hilscher; sisters, Jackie Newton and Donna Hilscher all of Lodi.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Hilscher; and sister, Joni Smith.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 1 p.m. in the Garden of Trees at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, with the Rev. Dr. David Hill of Grace Presbyterian Church in Lodi officiating.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
