Richard Quaschnick

Richard I. Quaschnick, 92, of Lodi, died on Nov. 7. He was born on April 20, 1920 in Ashley, N.D.

Mr. Quaschnick was a resident of Lodi for more than 90 years. He worked in the farming industry for 20 years before working for the Stockton Unified School District in maintenance and custodial work. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church in Stockton.

He is survived by his nephews, Jim E. Quaschnick and Kirby Quaschnick, both of Lodi.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Quaschnick, in 2007.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi. Interment will be private at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery in Stockton. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
