HAROLD LINDE

A service for Harold A. Linde, 82, of Lodi, who died Sept. 9, will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church, 13392 W. Lockeford Ranch Drive, Lockeford. A reception will follow in the church hall.

KEN HITCHEN

A memorial service for Ken Hitchen, 81, formerly of Lodi, who died Aug. 28, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Ham Lane Church of Christ, 600 S. Ham Lane, Lodi, with Alan Hitchen officiating.

JUNE PORTER

A graveside service for June Porter, 87, of Modesto, who died Sept. 15, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi.

PETER BROWN

A celebration of the life of Peter Stewart Brown, 79, who died Sept. 13, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Brown family home in Walnut Grove.

JOAN COOPER

A celebration of life for Joan Elizabeth Cooper, 65, who died Aug. 30, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi. Committal will be private, and there will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosencrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266; “Stand Up to Cancer”; or the girls’ scholarship fund with the Lodi branch of the American Association of University Women. Make checks payable to AAUW Lodi Branch, c/o Kiyomi Hoxie, 13066 N. Paddy Creek Lane, Lodi, CA 95240. Please put “Joan Cooper Memorial Fund” on the memo line of your check.
