Lee Roy Albert Gilmore, 79, of Lodi, died Jan. 16 at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Wichita, Kan.

Mr. Gilmore served in the Merchant Marines, and then was employed as a truck driver for Claude C. Woods Construction and a brake operator for McDonnell-Douglas. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Lodi, the Teamsters and the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Nadine A. Klemens-Gilmore, of Lodi; son, Morris Scott Gilmore, of Terrell, Texas; daughter, Lisa Ann Purkhiser, of Hawthorne; step-daughter, Dyanne Jones, of Lodi; and three grandchildren.

There will be no services and committal will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Church Missions Projects, P.O. Box 1503, Lodi, CA 95241.

Rocha's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
