Hallie Anderson
Hallie Mae Anderson, 85, of Galt, died June 18. She was born
Dec.13, 1925 in Smith County, Tenn.
Mrs. Anderson worked at a chocolate factory, Dupont, Lockheed
building airplanes, Avenal Hospital making surgical uniforms,
Pickrell Refrigeration, as a secretary at Thornton Rural Fire
District, and as a bookkeeper at Galt Door and Trim.
She is survived by her daughters, Jacqui Davy, of Lodi, Rita
Torrigino, of Lodi, Donna Label, of Nevada City, Robbie Zakoor, of
Reno, and Michele Anderson, of Galt; sisters, Ruthene Marlin,
Mildred Farmer, Annette Boyd and Dixie Short; and brothers, Hubert
Mitchell and Henry Mitchell; nine grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Anderson;
sisters, Georgia George, Ruhama Sisco and Dorothy Burnett; brother,
William-Green Mitchell.
Services were held June 22 at Galt Armo Cemetery District in
Galt.
Ben Salas Funeral Home assisted the family with
arrangements.
