Dwayne Andy Wiebe, 59, of Bay Point and formerly of Lodi, died July 17. He was born July 4, 1955, in Madera.

Mr. Wiebe attended Erma B. Reese Elementary, Lodi Senior Elementary School and Lodi High School. He graduated in 1973, having lettered in wrestling, diving, baseball and football. He played football for one year at San Joaquin Delta College. He then enlisted in the Army in December 1973 and served as a combat engineer for two years while stationed in Germany. He was a San Francisco Giants fan and enjoyed restoring cars, spending time with his family and visiting Six Flags.

He is survived by his mother, Cletice Wiebe of Lodi; sister, Gayleen Wiebe Stock of Lodi; and brothers, John E. Wiebe of Grass Valley and Terry D. Wiebe of El Paso, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tempee Wise Wiebe.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Century Assembly, 550 W. Century Blvd. A reception will immediately follow services at Century Assembly. Graveside services will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and East Harney Lane.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
