Wanda Lucille Bouchey, 79, of Galt, died May 19. She was born on June 23, 1932 in Yuma, Ariz.

Mrs. Bouchey was homemaker. She was an active member of the Friends of the Library and the Galt Area Historical Society, where she volunteered her time to genealogy of Galt families upon their request. She also served as the guardian of the Rae House Museum and took a special interest in the Rae House Memorial Rose Garden, where she kept an inventory of the roses and the names of the person for whom they served as a memorial.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ingles, of Texas; son, Mike Bouchey, of Minnesota; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walt Bouchey.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the chapel of Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi. A committal service will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St.

Rocha's Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
