Paul H. Bame, 89 of Lodi, died Dec. 12. He was born June 5, 1921 in Bellingham, Wash.

Mr. Bame worked as a chemical engineer for Fiber Board in Stockton. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and where he served as their financial secretary and was a member of the Volunteers in Mission, the church choir and the bell choir. He was also a member and the board treasurer of the Stockton Corral. He enjoyed singing.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Bame; son, Edward Bame; daughters, Kathy Baldauf, Judy Peet, Deborah Dominik, Virginia Dickinson, Margaret Bame and Paula McCleary; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Lynn Bame; and grandson, Brian Peet.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Alan Kimber officiating. Private interment will take place at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Donahue Funeral Home.

Donahue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
