A funeral for Frances Lorene Lucchesi, 83, formerly of Lodi, who died July 27, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca. A graveside service will follow at Park View Cemetery.


A celebration of the life of Robert W. Mattheis, 75, who died July 23, will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1055 S. Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi.


A church service for Nathaniel Everett Stone, 20, who died July 23, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church, 125 Sierra Ave., Rio Vista. Burial will immediately follow at Rio Vista Odd Fellows and Masonic Cemetery, 1016 Highway 12, Rio Vista. A reception will follow at Wine and Roses, 2505 W. Turner Road, Lodi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Home of Stockton, P.O. Box 201068, Stockton, CA 95201; or TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) at www.taps.org.


A gathering for Malvin John "Butch" Cheney, 63, who died July 16, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thornton Community Hall, 26950 N. Sacramento Blvd., Thornton.
