A celebration of life for Verna Lou Plath, 60, formerly of Lodi, who died June 25, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lodi Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin.

Robert Nelson

A memorial service for Robert D. Nelson, 78, of Lodi, who died July 5, will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at Vinewood Community Church in Lodi. Interment will be private in Sacramento. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas, 79174.

Carma Suttenfield

A memorial service for Carma Suttenfield, 39, of Polson, Mont. and formerly of Lodi, who died July 7, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lodi Moose Family Center, 13263 N. Highway 99, Lodi. Committal will be held at a later date at Glacier National Park in Montana.

Danielle Fuller

A celebration of life for Danielle Renee Fuller, 16, of Lodi, who died July 6, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at 105 Otta Dr., off Turner Road, Lodi. There will be no visitation and committal will be private.

Doris Wallen

A memorial service for Doris Cleona Wallen, 79, of Palm Desert and formerly of Lodi, who died July 10, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Indio. Inurnment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

Robert Kime

A funeral for Robert R. Kime, 71, of Galt, who died July 8, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home with Chaplain Tony Berry of Hospice of San Joaquin officiating. Committal will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Matsuto Mikami

A memorial service for Matsuto "Jim" Mikami, 84, of Lodi, who died July 10, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lodi Buddhist Church, 23 N. Stockton St., Lodi, with the Rev, Kenshin Fujimoto officiating. Inurnment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park.

A family memorial registry may be signed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.

Claude Fergason

A memorial service for Claude H. Fergason, Jr., 82, of Lodi, who died July 10, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Vinewood Community Church in Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vinewood Community Church Missions Fund, 1900 W. Vine St., Lodi, CA 95240.

Melvin Brown

A graveside service for Melvin Jackson Brown, 76, of Wilcox, Ariz. and formerly of Lodi, who died July 9, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charles Wm. Leighton Jr. Hospice, P.O. Box 115, Wilcox, Ariz. 85644.

Frank Johnson

A memorial service for Dr. Frank Johnson Jr., 83, of Lodi, who died July 11, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Reformed Church. A reception will follow in Crete Hall at Hutchins Street Square.
